The WCO hopes to create a collective impact that raises the publics cultural awareness and allows more people to be active and appreciative of creative expression through sharing experiences and resources with one another online and offline.

The 4E's:
The World Culture Open (WCO) is a collaborative network of people aiming to provide creative intercultural platforms for people to engage, enjoy, embrace, and be enriched together, sharing and respecting each others cultural experiences and knowledge, as well as dreams and ideas.
Our Programs
The 3C's
Culture Space Program
A movement to create cultural venues by mobilizing resources and utilizing existing spaces for available hours
Culture Event Program
A creative event series including contests, forums, exhibitions, and performances for active communication among peoples
Culture Support Program
A collective effort to discover cultural heritages and true talents, and to provide support for their ongoing development
The WCO has been involved in various efforts to provide open intercultural platforms such as the WCO Global Festival, the Culture Road regional culture exchange events, the C! HERE community growth project and the WCO Awards sponsorship program. Through each of these, the WCO hopes that people can explore the cultural diversity of our global village and be inspired to open their minds to a common humanity.
OUR ORGANIZATION
A creative collaboration network
The WCOs organization is largely composed of
three parts: the city/regional government sector which formulates and administers cultural policies; the non-governmental cultural organizations sector that acts as the main agents of cultural practices; and the executive sector, which coordinates and supports collaboration among members. Each of these three sectors brings together their expertise and resources to promote the WCO's 3C programs.
As a global network of culture, the WCO has also been working in close collaboration with other international organizations, including the UN and UNESCO, along with an extensive network of WCO friends, a number of public institutions, creative communities and leaders from various walks of life.

WCO is currently developing a virtual platform where members can openly communicate and collaborate anytime anywhere through our online conference system. Through the virtual platform, the WCO hopes to minimize consuming fixed costs and reduce environmental waste, which are typically generated by operating a massive organization; instead we maximize efforts into action by practicing the 3C programs.
