Moon of Dreams

Ik Joong Kang, a world - renowned installation artist, created an image of a full-moon on the Lake of Ilsan, in Ilsan, Korea. This moon figure was made of a giant balloon, 15m in diameter, of which the entire surface was pasted by 126,000 pieces of 3x3 inch-sized paintings and drawings collected from thousands of children from 141 countries. Children drew their "dreams" on those small square pieces of paper to express a collective wish for abundance and fullness of life.
